Surprise!!!

Wow I have amazing friends!! I just turned 15 and they all threw me a surprise party!! It was a couple days after my birthday so I was not expecting it! So me and Sara usually do something on our birthdays but couldn't on mine. So Sara asked me if I wanted to hang out on Friday since we couldn't do anything on my birthday. So I got there and she takes me to her room and all of our 8th grade yelled SURPRISE!!! It so surprising that I just starting laughing! Then they all yelled Happy Birthday! I have never had a surprise party before and it was so fun!! Sara's amazing mom made pizza for us(thank you Heidi!) and we played Just Dance. We were trying to make a video to put on Facebook but something would happen every time we turned the camera on! Either someone would laugh or we would just mess up! It was hilarious!! We had LOTS of laughs and had a great time!! Apparently Sara called my mom and asked if it was ok and I had no idea!! Anyways thanks again everyone for a great party!

So many things!!!

Oh my goodness! I haven't even posted since school started!! Oh by the way, I love the high school!! Everyone is so fun! They are so enthusiastic! I have had a lot of fun so far! I am sure I will have a lot more fun too.  I love my schedule!! I have an easy class in between all my hard classes. It goes: Speech(hard but fun) choir(easy) algebra(hard) band(easy) and then reading which isn't hard yet, its just annoying. haha So there you have it! hard easy hard easy and annoying! haha Anyways me and Sara where talking about how fast this summer has gone! I had a really fun summer though. I was pretty much always doing something. My brother jade left for his mission at the end of july and we have been able to email him every Monday. That has been really cool for our family.
He is in Linden, Tennessee right now. I know what your thinking...Where the heak is that!!!? It is about 3 hours away from Nashville. He pretty much lives in the woods. haha he lives a little trailer in the middle of nowhere. He hasn't complained at all about anything! he loves it there!! He isn't even homesick at all.....yet:) well I will keep you updated on that! haha seeya!

A Day in the Life...

So, what's life like for a freshman in high school right now? I'll tell you. With school getting back into session, that means...(drum roll) Lessons!!!! Oh yes, lessons. The constant driving of my dear mother (I LOVE YOU!!!!!) back and forth around the beautiful little city of Rexburg. We have probably driven everywhere around Rexburg, that's why I appreciate it so much. The fact that we aren't a huge city, but yet, we continue to grow. It's a blessing. Really. But anyways, I start violin today, J.T. has guitar, and Cambelle has piano. Then, next week, I start ballroom, which I cannot even tell you how excited I am!!! Its going to be so much fun, but we will be busy. High school is a lot of work and I didn't realize that my only free time would be weekends, which I haven't even had because of the play. This week Sugar Salem Education Foundation is presenting Joseph and the Technicolored Dreamcoat, and yours truly is one of 16 adoring girls, and I am going to be completely honest, we are really annoying in this play, but its going to be really fun. Come and support! Adults- $5 and Students $3. so the play and school has taken all my time, and the fact that right now I can be done with all my assignments and posting is a MIRACLE!!! I never expected school to be this strenuous. I haven't been completely pushed over the edge yet, but I know it will happen soon. So now what your thinking probably is that " Uhhh why does a freshman in high school have a computer?" For those not around here right now,(my relatives:), we just got laptops through a grant at Sugar Salem. It's been fun, but quite stressful for our technology department. Half of the school's computers didn't work for the first week, and so they had to figure that out. So now that you know my entire life story thus far:) nothing much else to say... Haha I love you all!! So far, doing pretty good on my promise. We'll keep trying!!! Love ya all!!!!!

1 Year...

Well, after a year of blogging, I have definitely learned a few things. One, I am really not very good at blogging. You know, after you start, it takes a while to realize that you aren't that great, and you need to do better. But, I'll get there. Two, that there are people in this world that are willing to look at two 14 year old girl's blog. I want to thank all of you who take time to just check up, even if it hadn't been updated forever!! And three, that I love to write. I love to get out in the world how my summer went, or how excited I was for school. So I will continue that, forever and ever.

Now, Tehya and I are in high school. Our first day was FULL of assemblies, rules, and you guessed it, TALKING!!!! I heard so much talking, I was beginning to miss Jr. High and the relaxation of it all. High school moves so fast, and if you don't look around, you'll get shoved into a wall. True story. I should know. But I have met so many new people who have become my friends. I am taking one class that I know will stretch me and I will have so many experiences. So I will keep you updated and thanks again for checking in.

Time Flies When You're Having Fun!!!

Can you believe that the summer is almost over? I am in total shock, but at the same time, I am incredibly excited. High School is almost beginning, and I can't believe it. I got my braces off today!!!!! My teeth look awesome!!! Thanks to Elison Orthodontics!! After three years of appointments, elastics, headgear(which I never wore), and braces, my teeth are done!!!  

While school is getting closer, I am sad that our summer is almost over. Tehya and I were not able to hang out enough to satisfy us, but it was good. We have had fun together talking about what we are excited for, the new edition to our high school, and who our new friends are going to be.

If you haven't already been to our house this summer, let me give you a tour. We have been redoing our bathrooms since the middle of June, and they are finally done! Our kids bathroom is awesome! And my mom's and dad's is gorgeous!!!

Life is good where I am, and that's all I could ask for. I have a whole year ahead of me. Ballroom, violin, friends, high school, and life in general. I will be better at blogging this school year, and that's a promise:)

Wow we are busy!!!

I haven't posted anything for ages it seems like! I'm working on it though!;) So we had piano festival over this weekend. We also had High School choir auditions. You could either make Great Day or Swing Choir. I made Great Day! It was quite the hastle trying to find out. The teacher sends emails to tell if you make it or not. So a friend of ours texts me and she asked me if I made it. So I went to check my email. With all the wind and crappy weather our enternet wasn't working!!! Maybe it was just my luck! So here's this teenage girl like freaking out because the stupid computer isn't working! I told my mom and she (being the genious she is) says just call Mr. Cherrington and ask. So she ended up calling and asking him!!!! During all this I was on the phone with Sara. She kept saying oh I'll check it for you!! I did not want her to find out before me!! Just sayin! haha Love you Sara!! Anyways that was our spring break!!

Random subjects

Sara and I are doing ballroom!! We are just starting it. It is so fun!!! I've only had one practice and I love it already! We are beginners so I'm not very good at it but I'm learning. I know Sara has taken a class before so she has had some experience. We are also going to start track soon! We are really excited for that too! I am so out of shape it's not even funny!!! I think dancing will help a little bit. Try-outs for high school choir is soon too! Wow! We are busy!!!!:)

Soooooo Sorry!

So sorry! I am not very good at this! Just a little bit about what is going on right now. Our HS boys basketball team went to districts! Wahoo!! Those games are the best! Wow!!!

Wow I'm SO tired of being sick! Ive been sick for about a month and a half now! It really stinks! Last night Sara and I went to the high school boys basketball game!!! Its was really fun! We had lots of friends there to talk to and cheer with!!! We won all three games. Good job boys!!! I was super tired when I got home last night. I had been standing and cheering for about three hours straight! It was crazy and super fun!

Sick day...

You know those days where you can kind of tell that you're getting sick, but you don't do anything to help it, and then the next day, you wake up feeling so miserable that you just don't want to do anything? Today was one of those days, you know, the second day. I woke up and read scriptures and went right back to bed and didn't go to school. After lots of glasses of orange juice, a bowl of soup, and a few movies, I felt a little bit better. So I get to go to school tomorrow and go to the school's first dance!!! I am sooooooooooooo excited!! The theme is Tropical Paradance :) Tehya and I will let you know how it went!! Hope I feel better <3 ya!!!

My Birthday!!!!

So my birthday was on the 17th and it was soooooooooooooo fun!!!!!!!! I went to school and Tehya had got there early and decorated my entire locker!! It was so cute!!! Then my cute mom and dad sent me a bouquet that had 9 packs of gum and a whole load of kisses!!!! It was awesome!!! Then in Choir, thanks to my friend Kreed (Thanks dude :) they sang to me and it was awesome!!! And in Orchestra, my friend Addison had the class sing to me!! It was soooo sweet. My friend Jake's present to me was saying Happy Birthday to me ALL DAY LONG!!! It was annoying, but I grateful for friends who do that for me! Then, because it was a Wednesday, (one day I will post about Wednesday, ahhhhh!!! :/ But I went to violin and piano and when I came home, to my surprise, My friend Samantha came to my house and completely decorated my room. The picture doesn't do it justice how incredible it was!! I loved it!! Then we had my birthday party and my sweet grandpa got out of the temple just to come and spend my birthday with me!! My grandparents gave me a gift card to Maurices and my parents gave me a REALLY cute dress and TURQUOISE jeans!!! Two pairs of jeans now! Score!!! It was a really awesome birthday!!Thanks to everyone who made it awesome!!! Love ya!!

Cross Country Part 2

A little bit more on the cross country.... Let me tell ya, I have so many great relationships with people I didn't even know existed :) Six of the best friends from X-C are Shay-Shay, who is the coolest chick named Shaylee. Ash, who is super awesome and always has a good light about her!! Lindsey Loohoo, who is a sixth grader, but I love her sooooooooooo much!!! She calls me Sara Baby, it started at one of our meets and I love it. Megan, who I call Megie and she is the cutest little thing ever! Hannah, who even though she had a calf injury, she wanted to run soooooooooooo bad!! I love that she tried so hard. Hannah 2 who is ALSO injured on her foot. I love these girls, and I am so grateful that they push me to do my best every week. Love you girls!!!! by the way, don't have pics of Shay, Ash, or either of our Hannahs, I'll get some!!!

We have spud harvest in a week!!!! It came so fast!!!!!! My family and I are goin on a cruise!!!! I am soooo excited!!!! Some exursions are Haiti and Jamaica. We are going to swim with and feed sting rays!!! I had a dream that we went on the cruise and and it was a little boat and there was really Nothing to do. I know it won't be like that though. I will post tons of pics for you.;)

Yeah!!..... Ewwwwww!!!

YEAH WE WON!!!!!!!! Our team did AWESOME at homecoming!!!! I went to the game last night with one of my cousins that goes to Madison. We had tons of fun. I cheered, yelled, and screamed until I didn't have a voice. We played Marsh Valley and we won! Then today I woke up to my mom saying Tehya it's time to get up and butcher chickens. We butchered exactly 100 chickens!!!!!! It took forever.We did like 60 today and 40 yesterday. It's quite the job. It goes faster with lots of people though. WOW!! What a weekend!!:)

Cross-Country

Soooooooo... Yes, it's true. I am on the cross country team at my school. And let me tell you, if you have ever thought about it, DO IT!!!!! I have had experiences that have absolutely changed my thinking about running. A year ago, when I started running track with Tehya, I wasn't very good. Ok, I guess I didn't try very hard to get it, but I thought " At least I am trying."I ran the 100m dash, 400m run (that was towards the end), and 100m relay with my friends. So during the summer, my mom took me and my siblings to the track at least twice a week. I would run my 100 and my 400 and I would work until I cried.( Seriously, I cried couple of times :) But it was totally worth because one day, I was running and I saw the high school's X-country team finishing their practice. I finished running and I see the head coach walking over. He got over to us and said to me and my brother " You want to do cross country?" Of course J.T. did because he had been talking about it before and had worked really hard over the summer for it. I was more...shrug. Didn't know how much I wanted to do it. But we gave him our names and phone number and couple days later we got a call from my friend's dad and my track coach asking us if we were still planning on doing cross country. So that settled it. I had to do it, and I wanted to cry the minute it happened, but it happened. My first meet was at West J and it was 83 degrees outside and it was dusty and sandy. ( Can you tell I was kind of mad and really, REALLY scared?) I told my mom that I didn't want to do it and she just kept saying that I could do it. ( I am so glad I have a mom like her to tell me that I can do it even when I want to die!) So I almost cried when I started. The gun goes off and I go. Thinking in my head "I am going to die!" Of course because I am a baby, I walked. Such a baby! But I came in strong and felt sick to my stomach. People kept telling me good job, and I just nodded. I drank soooooooo much water!!! But I was so proud that I finished something that a year before, I laughed at doing. Then every week after that I got stronger. Then 1 week ago, I ran in I.F. at the annual Tiger-Grizz run. My goal that day was to not walk at all. I ran with another girl from my team and she and I didn't walk at all. I was so happy with myself. It was nice to have my family, Tehya, and my other friends there at the end cheering or me. Yesterday I ran at Rigby Lake and didn't walk there either. It was so worth it after that because we got to swim afterwards. It was awesome!!!! One more meet and I will be finished. So I get some pics at my next meet and get the pics from my mom! Love ya!

It's spirit week!!!

We have been having lots of fun this week at school. Tuesday was sports day.Wednesday was crazy hair day and tommorow is hat day. Friday is the parade and blue and white day!!!! YEAH!!!!!!!GO TEAM!!!!!!

Wow!! It has been awhile. School is goin great....for me at least. I don't know about Sara but I'm sure she is is doin great too.We have been havin lots of fun....from goin to games to goin to each others houses like every day!!jk!

Happy Labor Day!!!

Wow! It feels like it has 3 months of school and it has only been 3 days!!! The summer went by way to fast!:( But that's ok because I like being back in school I guess.

 Sara and I went to Rigby lake today and we were pretty much counting down the hours until school!!!! I have had an awesome summer except for one little... okay big part. I had to get 10... no joke...10 teeth...baby teeth...pulled so I can get braces in 6 months!!!!!!:{ It kinda stunk just a little bit...... okay maybe A TON!!!!!!! But other than I had a great summer.

Haha like sara said we are pretty excited for school! Just reading sara's last post I don't think I am as excited for it than her.:) I'm just wondering if I'm gonna like my classes or not. I guess I'm excited to see all the sevies. Yeah!!!!!!
